Terms and Conditions

Last updated 15 Sep 2026

Bayou Book is a free, unofficial fan project for Hunt: Showdown. By signing in you agree to these terms. They are kept short on purpose.

Your account

  • You sign in with your own Steam account. Your Bayou Book account belongs to that Steam account.
  • Keep your Steam login safe. Whatever happens under your account counts as done by you.

Playing fair

  • Enter your own numbers and keep them honest. The leaderboards are only fun if everyone does.
  • Be decent in comments and feedback: no insults, harassment, hate, spam or advertising.
  • Do not try to break, overload or get around Bayou Book, and do not scrape it with bots.

What you post

Comments, feedback and messages stay yours. You allow Bayou Book to store and show them where you posted them. We may remove content that breaks these terms.

Stream overlay

  • You may use the stream overlay from your dashboard in your streams and videos, free of charge.
  • Show the overlay in full, including the Bayou Book logo and the address bayoubook.app. Do not cover, crop or blur them, and do not change the numbers.
  • Your overlay link is personal. Anyone who has it sees the numbers of your current day. If it gets out, create a new one on your dashboard.

No guarantees

  • Bayou Book is a free hobby project. It is provided as it is, without any guarantee that it is always available, error-free or that your data can never be lost.
  • Numbers read from your screenshots or entered by hand can be wrong. Check them before you rely on them.
  • Features can change or disappear, and the whole site can shut down.
  • We are liable without limitation only for intent and gross negligence, and where the law does not allow any limitation.

Ending

You can stop using Bayou Book at any time and delete your account in Settings.

Breaking these terms can get you banned from Bayou Book. Depending on how serious it is, we may remove content, turn off your stream overlay link, suspend your account or delete it and keep you from signing in again.

Changes

If these terms change, we will announce it in the News before the new version applies.

Privacy and contact

How your data is handled is described in the privacy notice. Questions go through the feedback form at the bottom of every page.
